vivo V30 Pro launches with four 50 MP cameras
Four weeks after the regular V30 debut, the vivo V30 Pro is finally official. The phone will be available in international markets and will come with four 50MP cameras – three at the back and one more at the front.
While the Pro version has the same footprint as the V30 and the China-only S18 and S18 Pro, the phones also share the display, battery and charging rate.
The V30 Pro comes with a Dimensity 8200 chipset. It’s a much more powerful 4 nm platform than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the regular V30. There are two memory options – 8/256 GB or 12/512 GB
The Vivo V30 Pro‘s camera was co-engineered with Zeiss and the partnership with the German company brings features like natural colors, border watermarks and Zeiss style portraits.
The rear sensors are Sony IMX920 for the main camera, Samsung JN1 for the ultra-wide-angle shooter and Sony INX816 for the portrait telephoto camera. The phone also has a rectangular Aura Light for a softer, more illuminated look in your low-light portraits.
The screen is a 10-bit 6.78” AMOLED panel with 1260p resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 2,800 nits.
The V30 Pro is launching globally, meaning its interface is Funtouch 14 on top of Android 14. It has a 5,000 mAh battery, but it is still the thinnest vivo smartphone in the international market.
Vivo V30 Pro is offered in four colors, each with a unique design effect – Bloom White, Waving Aqua, Lush Green and Noble Black. The company said the phone will be available in India, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines and Taiwan.
We are yet to find out how much the Vivo V30 Pro will cost. That, along with availability will be announced later for each market.
