Nokia G42 gets 4GB RAM variant Launched in India
HMD today announced the launch of a new 4GB RAM variant of the Nokia G42 in India, with 128GB of storage onboard, priced at INR9,999 ($120/€110), and will go on sale from March 8 via Amazon.in and HMD . Official Indian website. It will be available in So Purple and So Grey.
The Nokia G42 is also available in India in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations, selling for INR12,999 ($155/€145) and INR16,999 ($205/€190) respectively through HMD’s website.
The Nokia G42 is powered by the Snapdragon 480+ SoC and picked up the Android 14 update in India in January. It’s built around a 6.56″ 90Hz HD+ LCD, with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a notch for the 8MP selfie camera.
At the back, you’ll find a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary, 2MP macro and 2MP depth unit. The Nokia G42 packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 20W charging support and comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB-C and 5G connectivity.
